Oh yeah! I went to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert at Glendale Arena last night. I haven't been to a concert in a while, but I have to say, this is the best one I've been too! Matt and I had a blast. I'm a bit sore from dancing (I am suffering from Headbanger's Whiplash) and my voice is hoarse but it was well worth it. What an amazing band. They sounded great, had a ton of energy, everyone was dancing and in to it, and they played a good mix of old and new songs. We had 17th row seats- center stage- sooooooooo cool!!!!! When I see a band in concert, it either makes or breaks the band for me. When I saw REM and Michael Stipe had a music stand with his lyrics in front of him, I didn't listen to them for a long time (I'm over that now, but they aren't one of my favorites any more). When I saw Sensless Things open for another band and they were smiling and loving it and having a good time, I went out and bought their album. So seeing the Chili Peppers having a great time and sounding awesome really made me happy :-)
